As of 4/9/06 a populist and anti-American candidate is leading in the polls for prez of Peru. If he wins then another US critic will be installed to power in Latin America. That would bring the total to at least 4 and possibly as many as 7 leaders critical of US policies.
A bloc of socialistic leaders is winning elections, this could lead to a mutual anti-US aggression pact amoung these countries, which, in my opinion would prevent the US from trying to flex its muscle in the area.
